Mission


Our mission is to provide "the sole and exclusive administration and responsibilities of the pension trust fund" to include the accountability for all monies of the funds, making investments, and determining eligibility for and payment of benefits. The group was created by Article I, Section 15-1/2 of the City Code and Chapter 185 Florida Statutes.


Membership Criteria


Five members:

  • Two City residents
  • Two police officers appointed by other plan members
  • One chosen by the other four board members to serve two-year terms
