  1. New exhibition at the Modernism Museum-- Space Oddities: The Sequel

    The Modernism Museum Mount Dora is pleased to announce its new exhibition, Space Oddities: The Sequel. The exhibition opens on Tuesday, July 9th and will run until mid-2020. Space Oddities: The Sequel expands upon the Modernism Museum’s exhibition of mind-bending Post-Modern designs created by the radical 1980s design collective known as Memphis. This exhibit features hundreds of new Memphis design objects never-before displayed at the Modernism Museum. A members-only opening reception will be held on Wednesday, July 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Modernism Museum gallery. This event is only open to 3MD Members; however, memberships will be available for purchase at the event. Individual-level Memberships start at $40 and several levels are available.   2. Vilas Tonape- Solo Exhibit

    February 7, 2020, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Mount Dora Center For The Arts

    Working in both figurative and non-representational modes, Tonape focuses on nature. His paintings are “melodies” orchestrated by the artist, rooted in the visual rhythms of gesture and color, recorded in the subject matter. Opening reception: January 10th, 2020 6-8 PM.

  1. Vision Board Workshop

    February 7, 2020, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Community Room

    In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own vision board, starting with how to set goals and keep them attainable. Learn the difference between goals and intentions and practice visualizing yourself achieving the goals you are setting, all while you create your own vision board. Some supplies are provided, but please bring old magazines, colored pens & pencils, markers, stickers and other art supplies. Sponsored by the Mount Dora Library Association.
