Since 1968, AARP Foundation Tax Aide volunteers have helped nearly 50 million low to moderate income taxpayers. AARP Foundation has more than 5,000 locations in neighborhood libraries, malls, banks and senior centers. There is no fee and no sales pitch for other services and AARP membership is not required. Appointments may be made starting Monday, January 28, 2019 by calling (352) 735-5936. Appointment Reminders: Must bring photo ID Social Security cards are required for everyone to be listed on the tax returns. Bring all tax documents, including health insurance forms 1095 A, 1095 B or 1095 C. Very important: bring last year's return. New to the ukulele? Interested in jamming with other adults? Learn and play together in our new ukulele class for adults and explore chords, strumming techniques, and learn easy songs. Please bring your own ukulele to class. Teens and tweens are also welcome. Ukulele class meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM (in the Library) and on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM (at the Simpson Farmhouse).

What is a Girls Who Code Club? Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, beginning January 8, 2019. Girls Who Code Clubs, which are modeled after the nationwide program, are meant for girls to join a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, and use computer science to change the world. Registration is limited to eight students (middle school and high school) and the program runs from Tuesday, January 8, 2019 until Tuesday, April 30, 2019. You will be registered for all sessions.
