Learn Florida-friendly landscaping techniques to grow these diverse and beautiful (and fairly pest-free!) plants that thrive in Central Florida, bringing vivid color and texture to your garden. Discover the bromeliads and gingers that will fit any part of your landscape, sun or shade - on the ground, in a pot or in a tree! You'll learn about the impact of light on bromeliads, native Florida bromeliads, propagation (easy) and growing both edible and ornamental gingers.
Learn about additional resources available at UF/IFAS Extension. Class is taught by a UF/IFAS Extension, Lake County Master Gardener.
No registration required. All attendees receive door prize tickets for door prizes of bromeliads.

The Help & Healing for Parents of Estranged Adult Children is a monthly support group meeting at the Simpson Farmhouse on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 6:00 PM. Join with other adults to share insights, greater understanding and ideas on grieving and healing. Moderated discussion format is loosely based upon the book Done with the Crying, by Sheri McGregor, M.A.
