Announcing a Dine & Learn lecture series on one of Mexico’s greatest artists, Frida Kahlo. Frida Kahlo: A Life Less Ordinary is part 1 of a 3-part series on the artist’s continued influence on art and culture. This session will act as an introduction to the life and work of Frida Kahlo. Her life was, in some respects, very tragic and she used her artwork to illustrate her experiences. Having some biographical background on Kahlo can help the viewer appreciate the interesting and sometimes unusual details of her work.
