Back-to-School Supply Drive

school supply drive

The Mount Dora Police Department is kicking off their annual school supply drive starting June 18 and continuing until July 25.

Mount Dora Police want to make sure local kids have everything they need to start the school year on a positive note.  Supplies are needed for Elementary, Middle and High School ages.  Along with the items that are listed by the schools, MDPD is collecting Backpacks, Bikes and Lunchboxes for all ages.

“It is important that we make sure our kids have everything they need to start the school year off on the right foot and we, at the police department, want to make sure that happens for them through the generous donations of our community,” said Police Chief John O’Grady.

Drop-off locations are at the Mount Dora Police Department, City Hall and the W.T. Bland Public Library during operating hours.
