Reclaimed Water System shut down on non-watering days

Due to the unusual dry weather and drought conditions, the City of Mount Dora will be shutting down the reclaimed water system during non-watering days and times. The city is experiencing high demands for reclaimed water for lawn watering during statutory, non-watering times. Because of this demand, residents and businesses will not have access to the reclaimed water on the following days/times:

Mondays – Midnight - Midnight

Tuesdays – Midnight - Midnight

Wednesdays - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursdays - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fridays – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturdays - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sundays - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The city will continue to shut down the reclaimed water system until rainy season in late June to early July. The goal of the city is to provide a reliable source of irrigation water from the reclaimed water system and these shut downs will allow the city to achieve that goal.
