Bromeliads & Gingers
Sunday, October 14, 2018
Learn Florida-friendly landscaping techniques to grow these diverse and beautiful (and fairly pest-free!) plants that thrive in Central Florida, bringing vivid color and texture to your garden. Discover the bromeliads and gingers that will fit any part of your landscape, sun or shade - on the ground, in a pot or in a tree! You'll learn about the impact of light on bromeliads, native Florida bromeliads, propagation (easy) and growing both edible and ornamental gingers.
Learn about additional resources available at UF/IFAS Extension. Class is taught by a UF/IFAS Extension, Lake County Master Gardener.
No registration required. All attendees receive door prize tickets for door prizes of bromeliads.
Sponsored by the Mount Dora Library Association.
