  3. Severed Heads: The Power of Women in 16th and 17th Century Art

    February 22, 2019, 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM @ 1921 Mount Dora

    Dr. Ilenia Colón Mendoza, Associate Professor of Art History, Latin American Studies, and Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Central Florida, will examine Mannerist and Baroque depictions of some of art history’s most notorious women. Discover what Judith, Salome, Susanna, Medusa, and all their sisters have to say about the place and power of women through the centuries. This Dine & Learn, presented by the Modernism Museum Mount Dora, will take place at the Museum’s award-winning restaurant, 1921 Mount Dora. Excel spreadsheets can be used for budgets, work and school projects, record-keeping, lists, inventories, and more. By the end of this class you should be able to create and format a spreadsheet; enter and edit data; and use basic formulas to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers in a horizontal row or vertical column. Attendees will use PCs in the W.T. Bland Public Library Technology Lab, which have Microsoft Excel 2016 installed.
