Workshops

Recently, City Council has discussed construction of a new City complex that would accommodate the Public Works and/or a Parks and Recreation facility. Staff explored several alternatives and presented those to City Council for additional discussion during the February 9, 2017 Work Session.

On January 21, 2017, the City Council began moving the City into the next phase of the Strategic Plan by refining the initial one (1) to two (2) year goals and objectives that were preliminary established in the Strategic Plan Report:

1. Economic
2. Infrastructure
3. Fiscal
4. Growth Management
5. Public Safety

The City Council determined measures to clearly outline the parameters and those measures will be used by the City to define success in accomplishing the goals and objectives as seen in the Strategic Plan Update Report.
