Our mission is to eliminate slum and blighted areas within the district boundaries of the agency to eliminate the spread of disease and crime, establish social and economic viability, and improve housing and traffic.
The committee was created according to Chapter 163 Florida Statutes and established by Ordinance 557 on August 7, 1989.
The seven-member advisory committee is appointed by the City Council to serve two-year staggered terms. The committee reviews the projects for the Northeast Community Redevelopment Agency and provides recommendations to the City Council.
