To eliminate slum and blighted areas within the district boundaries of the agency to eliminate the spread of disease and crime, establish social and economic viability, and improve housing and traffic.
Created according to Chapter 163 Florida Statutes and established by Ordinance 508 on December 20, 1988.
The seven-member advisory committee is appointed by the City Council to review projects for the Community Redevelopment Agency and make recommendations to council. Members serve two-year staggered terms.
